We're back with another season of Warhammer and Tabletop Gaming at Fountain Valley with Escalation Season 1 2025 for Warhammer 40,000!
The first official escalation day will be on Sunday, March 16th! Season 2 will once again consist of 8 weeks spanning from Sunday, March 16th to Saturday, May 10th! Extra weeks may be added due to scheduling conflicts.
Are you interested in starting Warhammer 40K but don't know how or where to begin? Look no further! Escalation League is designed to onramp people into the hobby over the course of several months. No pressure to build/paint everything right away, the goal is to reach the advertised points by the end of the phase! You can earn points through several methods:
- Play matches against fellow league members weekly
- Hobby/paint your models in-store weekly
- Paint at least 500 points of models over the span of the season
- Bring a friend along to play/observe in Wargaming weekly
- Write a lore excerpt about your team / squad
Purchasing entry into the League enters you in to win awesome participation prizes and grants access to the End of Season party which takes place at the conclusion of each season! Games can be played at anytime during the week. We'll be sending out forms to get each player's available schedule for the week and will do our best to match the player against another with similar schedule and team format!
To add a bit more competitive spirit to the mix, we'll be awarding additional Escalation League points to players that win their match for the week! Tons of ways to earn points and climb that Escalation Leaderboard for the Emperor!
We will still also be heavily pushing the KILL TEAM format! If any Escalation League participants play at least 4 weeks of the Kill Team format during the League's duration, they will be entered into a raffle to take home a Kill Team Box of their choice at the end of the Escalation League!
All coordination for matches is done through our Discord using Threads! Make sure you join our Discord community, select "Warhammer" as an interest, and enable threads! There will be a Google Form to assist in scheduling matches posted in these threads as well! We look forward to seeing you on the battlefield!
